ISLAMIC GROUP DEMONSTRATES IN FRONT OF U.S. EMBASSY

Jakarta - Tens of youths grouped in the Islamic Youth Movement (GPI)
staged a demonstration in front of the United States embassy here
Friday.

Carrying green flags featuring a crescent and a star, the youths held
orations protesting US-led military action on Islamic Afghanistan.

The demonstration was held peacefully in the presence of tens of
policemen.
