Asesinada prominente abogada de derechos humanos en México

CIUDAD DE MÉXICO -- Una abogada de derechos humanos que defendió a
acusados zapatistas fue asesinada tras recibir varias amenazas de
muerte. Una nota dejada junto a su cadáver amenazó que lo mismo
podría sucederle a otras personas, informó la Procuraduría General.

La abogada, Digna Ochoa, de 38 años, fue hallada muerta el viernes
tras recibir disparos en la cabeza y en una pierna, dijo el
procurador general Bernardo Bátiz.

A prominent woman human rights attorney, who had served as a lawyer
for the Zapatistas, was assassinated. A note left next to her body
