She is a Nicaraguan inmigrant to Miami who has not live in that country for many years, knows very little of what goes on there, and she even expresses disdain for its people. She is an American citizen and travels with an American passport. She was a member of Jeff Bush transition team for Governor of Florida and he appointed her to head of the Florida Inmigration Office.
