   MEXICO CITY, Oct 5 (AFP) - Former chief prosecutor Pablo Chapa
Bezanilla arrived here Sunday from Spain to face charges he rigged
evidence linked to the 1994 assassination of presidential candidate
Luis Donaldo Colosio.
   Mexico's deputy chief prosecutor, Jose Luis Ramos, told
reporters that Chapa Bezanilla's extradition from Spain was not part
of an exchange for Spanish Basque militants living in Mexico.
   Chapa Bezanilla is accused of perjury and falsifying documents
in connection with his investigation of Colosio's murder.
   At the time Colosio was the ruling Institutional Revolutionary
Party's presidential candidate.
