The focus will be on these two entities, either of which can grant her freedom (despite what they say). If you send regular letters during the week, hold off for the days leading up to the 20th so that the impact will be sudden and tremendous. Send as many messages as you can to urge her immediate release and to remind that the international community is WATCHING. Roisin McAliskey has been held in captivity without any charges filed against her, awaiting an extradition hearing for a warrant that has been completely invalidated by the evidence. She must be freed immediately. The onus is on the British and German Governments to grant her the freedom that was stolen from her one year ago today. She has never received a fair hearing with all the evidence and she has been cruelly and inhumanely treated. I strongly urge you to consider the fact that every major Human Rights Organization, the US Congress, Former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark, David Andrews, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Ireland and countless others have called for her release. The time has come -- this travesty of justice MUST be corrected immediately.
