NEW ARRIVAL FOR MITCHELL

The American credited with breathing new life into the
Northern Ireland peace process has become a father again.
Senator George Mitchell (62) was in New York for the birth
of his son, Andrew McLaughlin Mitchell. The baby weighed
7lbs 14oz. Senator Mitchell, who chairs multi-party talks on
the future of Northern Ireland, was by wife Heather's side
during the birth yesterday.
