Mr. McGuinness said: "The longer this case drags on the more apparent it becomes that there is no evidence to sustain the charges in the extradition warrants. Even the witnesses whose evidence the German govrnment is basing its case on have said that they do not recognise Roisin. It seems that the only rationale behind the continuance of this case is that it was instigated in the first place. Both the German and the British governments have been guilty of the incredibly inhumane treatment of this young mother, whose health has been extremely fragile to say the least since this witchhunt was instigated on the most spurious grounds by the RUC - the most discredited force in Western Europe." ================================================================= NY Transfer News Collective * A Service of Blythe Systems Since 1985 - Information for the Rest of Us 339 Lafayette St., New York, NY 10012 http://www.blythe.org e-mail: nyt@blythe.org ================================================================= nytire-10.01.97-14:48:36-6951
