BOMB KILLS POSSIBLE LOYALIST FEUD VICTIM

A man killed by a booby trap bomb near his home in Bangor,
Co Down on Saturday may have been the victim of a feud
between rival loyalist paramilitaries. The man died after
the device exploded under the seat of his car.

Although the RUC said they were keeping an open mind about
the motive for the attack, neighbors in the housing estate
where it happened believe tensions involving opposing
factions were to blame.

Meanwhile, the Loyalist Volunteer Force has issued a  death
threat to Irish civil servants working in Belfast. The LVF
have warned that civil servants from the Republic will now
be regarded as legitimate targets and were given 48 hours to
leave the province.
