The man died after the device exploded under the seat of his car. Although the RUC said they were keeping an open mind about the motive for the attack, neighbors in the housing estate where it happened believe tensions involving opposing factions were to blame. Meanwhile, the Loyalist Volunteer Force has issued a death threat to Irish civil servants working in Belfast.
