The Ulster Freedom Fighters, linked to the Ulster Defense Association, issued a statement today saying its decision to split from the umbrella group had been endorsed by its "offices and members". John White of the Ulster Democratic Party, political representatives of the UFF and UDA, said he believed the Combined Loyalist Military Command - which had united all the main loyalist paramilitaries - was now defunct. "The UFF will now follow its own agenda," he said. __________________________________________________________ The Irish American Information Service is a non-profit orginization provding up-to-the-minute objective coverage of news as it happens in Ireland and the North.
