Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, he said his time in Belfast had been rewarding, but not without its nervous moments. "When I was a kid in Maine, every Saturday at the movies the cowboy serial episode would end in a cliff-hanger. Would the hero survive until next week? It's been much the same here." He said he had criss-crossed the Atlantic 100 times in the last two years. "This is extremely demanding, every difficult for me in the personal sense because of my family, but I am here because I believe this is a worthwile cause.
