(see below) The soldiers who assisted the people of Papua New Guinea,in stopping the mercenaries Sandline International from going to Bougainville to kill, maim, and murder are currently facing "mutiny charges" in the Military Court. They need to be supported for the work they did in stopping Sandline International and also exposing the corruption of the former government under Sir Julius Chan. Cheers, Vikki Bougainville Freedom Movement. ======================= Seminar on aspects of the Sandline Affair, by Sean Dorney and Mary-Louise O'Callaghan The Department of Political and Social Change and The State, Society and Governance in Melanesia Project Notice of Seminar Aspects of the Sandline Affair, Papua New Guinea Sean Dorney (ABC correspondent, Port Moresby) The PNG Defence Force - An Undisciplined Force Mary-Louise O'Callaghan (South Pacific correspondent for 'The Australian', Honiara) Defence as an Issue in the Australia/Papua New Guinea Relationship Monday 13 October 1997 12.30 - 3.00 pm Seminar Room A, Coombs Bldg, The Australian National University.
