The heinous assault on Haitian worker Abner Louima was only the latest atrocity against people of color. On Oct. 3 labor activists will speak out on how the unions can do more to build solidarity against the reactionary police and city administration. This struggle is closely linked to low wages, union busting, the fight for jobs and labor's campaign to organize the unorganized.
