"Mexico has never, and will never, have troop participation in any peacekeeping operation of the UN," said a statement issued by the Mexican Foreign Ministry. The statement also said that the Mexican government has expressed "on various occasions" that its foreign policy is attached "strictly to the constitutional principles of peaceful solutions to disputes and those of non-intervention."
