Serbian electric co. officials said that last night's attacks caused major damage to power supply in Serbia. Three major transmitting plants were destroyed, which caused extreme problems in supplying with electricity most of the Belgrade, north province of Vojvodina, Nis and central Serbia. At the same time, transmitting plant in Rimski Sancevi near Novi Sad was attacked. Power station "Nis 2" was hit at 00.30. After the attack, entire Nis was left without power. In Belgrade, parts of Zemun and New belgrade don't have electricity and water for five days. Convoy of international reporters hit NATO missile attack in Kosovo hit near a convoy of Western journalists Sunday at 16.30, killing a driver Nebojsa Radojevic (38). Clash between Montenegro police and Yugoslav army On Montenegro police checkpoint near Cetinje yesterday police stopped group of members of Yugoslav Army because police wasn't notified about their arrival, unofficial sources say. Yugoslav Army arrested five citizens of Cetinje on occasion, including Bozidar Bogdanovic, president of Citizen's committee for peace. Several hundreds of Cetinje citizens gathered in front of City Hall, protesting. Today at 12.00 Army released arrested people, which eased situation a bit, but large number of protesters are still on the streets of Cetinje. Beograd In attack on Ripanj near Belgrade in 04.15, Slavica Stojiljkovic was killed, and several people were injured. Three homes were destroyed. Surdulica In last night attack on Surdulica Sanatorium for lung diseases was hit. Sanatorium is located in home for elderly people. At least 20 people were killed, and there are 30 injured. Rescue teams are still searching the rubble. It is possible there are more casualties. On today's briefing NATO denied that one of the missiles hit Home for elderly people in Surdulica. Varvarin It was confirmed today that Sunday's attack on Varvarin bridge left nine people dead, six missing, seventeen injured and twenty-one wounded. Asked about reported civilian casualties from NATO attacks on a bridge and a sanatorium in Serbia, Jamie Shea responded with a catalogue of ethnic Albanians victimized by Belgrade's forces operating in Kosovo, justifying victims caused by NATO in Yugoslavia. It is a sharp turn for NATO politics, which used apologies for previous victims of NATO attacks. Kosovo 11 missiles were fired at Zagradska Hoca village near Prizren on Sunday at 18.30. In the attack, graveyard was hit and more than 100 graves were damaged. During last night industrial zone of Pec, Lipljan area and Rugovska klisura ravine. In daylight attacks on Kosovo, two missiles hit Zur village near Prizren at 10.38, at 11.00 two missiles hit area of Prizren, at 10.30 municipality of Gora, at 13.35 village Brecanik near Pec, at 13.00 villages Ratkovac and Zrze in vicinity of Dragas, at 13.20 Decani. Other news At 17.40 yesterday, Sombor was attacked with four missiles. Two missiles hit water supply facility (which provides entire Sombor with drinking water). Another two missiles struck TV transmitter and fuel depot in Conoplja. Seven people were injured in attack on Slavujevac, vicinity of Presevo at 19.45 on Sunday. In attack on Radio Subotica transmitter in Palic, yesterday at 17.45, three people were injured: Lajos Elek, Smilja and Uros Prodanovic. At least five missiles were fired. One of them landed into Palic lake, but it didn't explode. Wide area of Vranje was hit with total of 33 missiles on Sunday, in period between 19.20 and 20.00. Villages of Gornji Neradovac, Donji Neradovac, Dapcevac, Soderce and Bunesavac were attacked. In Donji Neradovac, one home was destroyed. Brvenik near Raska was attacked at 21.40. One residential house was completely demolished. Attack was repeated at 02.40. At 00.02 wide area of Leskovac was attacked. Hisar hill was hit with 6 missiles, and area of Velika Grabovnica was hit. At 00.08 bridge in Vladicin Han was destroyed. At 00.35 east part of Aleksinac was hit with two missiles. Leposava Ristic from Neradovci village was killed in attack on Vranje at 08.41. Lukicevo village near Zrenjanin was attacked at 09.17. Around 11.43 transmitter on Plackovica near Vranje was hit. At 13.00 area of Leskovac was attacked. 4 missiles hit villages of Arapova Dolina and Donje Sinkovce, and Medja village was hit with two missiles. In Donje Sinkovce there are many damaged houses.
