Wright killer in bar before bomb attack

THE INLA man who murdered LVF leader Billy Wright was
drinking in the Red Devils bar on Belfast's Falls Road
minutes before a loyalist grenade attack.

Christopher 'Crip' McWilliams was with fellow mourners
after attending his mother's funeral while on
compassionate leave from the Maze.

A loyalist tried but failed to gain access to the bar
last Friday and was forced to throw a grenade he was
carrying into the street. Three men were treated in
the Royal Victoria Hospital for shrapnel injuries.

Irish Republican Socialist Party spokesman Paul Little
said McWilliams and fellow mourners had left the bar
before the attack.
