IRSP Euro statement on End of NATO/US War Via NY Transfer News Collective * All the News that Doesn't Fit source - IRSP The Office of Terry O hEarcain, European Secretary to the Ard Comhairle. 10 June 1999 The European section of the IRSP Overseas has welcomed the end of hostilities in Yugoslavia but condemned the dawning of Ronald Reagan and George Bush's "New World Order." In a statement issued from the party's European office, in London, Ard Comhairle (national leadership) member Terry O hEarcain said, "What we have witnessed here is the dawning of the much vaunted American-dominated New World order." "While we welcome the end of the unlawful attacks on the Yugoslav people it must not be forgotten that Javier Solana has, at the behest of his political masters, Bill Clinton and Tony Blair, prosecuted a campaign of terror against a sovereign State in breach of international and moral law." "No mater what information has been used to justify the war in Yugoslavia the fact remains that the United Nations has stated more than once, that the internal policing of a nation is the sole responsibility of that nation. As Britain has, on more than one occasion, hid behind that concept in relation to its dealings with the nationalists in Northern Ireland. It is nonsense for them to disregard that concept in relation to the Yugoslav situation. It is becoming more and more clear that International Law is only a concept when it comes to anyone other than the USA, Britain and their NATO partners. " "There never was any justification for the attacks carried out against the Yugoslav people. Even the notion that NATO acted to save lives has to be discounted. When French armed thugs massacred over a million people in Rwanda in less than six weeks-as the world watched, NATO did not lift a finger. Hundreds and thousands are being murdered in Algeria and Irish Nationalists are being driven from their homes in droves and there is no outcry from the White House or Downing Street. No NATO troops to safeguard their rights. " "No, it was never about the rights or the condition of the Yugoslav Albanians, it was a lot more sinister than that. This conflict was brought about for one reason and one reason only. To cement the position of the USA as the dominant nation in the world, and Britain as its number two." Mr O hEarcain concluded by saying that Europe was entering a new and dangerous situation with the realisation of the New World order blueprint first floated by former US presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush. "We are now entering an era when non-NATO states must subjugate their internal policy to the wishes of those states who are NATO members. Today it is Yugoslavia who will they come for tomorrow?"
