Bush erratic and incompetent, Saudi daily says

Riyadh, April 21: A Saudi newspaper, keeping up a stream of attacks
on the United States in the Kingdom's press, on Sunday branded
President George W. Bush an "incompetent decision-maker".

"It seems President Bush specialises in donning different masks. He
is lost in the sea of his foreign policy, does not know where his
country's interests lie and is thus not a good decision-maker,"
al-Watan said in an editorial.

Since the start of "the brutal Israeli war on the Palestinian
people," it had become increasingly difficult to make sense out of
the US President's statements, the paper said.

"President Bush has made statements which say one thing and then the
opposite. He makes a decision in one statement, only to revoke it in
another," the daily added.

The criticism comes ahead of a key meeting between Bush and Saudi
crown prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, the kingdom's de facto ruler,
who is due to see the US leader on Thursday.
