Prescriptions for Cuba

In 1996 I made a documentary about Cuba's meningitis vaccine, during
which I was given complete access to Cuba's advance
medical/biomedical research establishments.

I met with senior scientists and British collaborators and saw no
evidence to suggest that Cuba was using science for military
purposes.

The British company Glaxo Smith Kline is carrying out advanced
clinical trials on a meningitis vaccine developed alongside Cuban
scientists. The suggestion by the Bush administration that Cuba is
developing bio-warfare capabilities is an obvious propaganda exercise
that Tony Blair must dismiss.
