Papyrus Links Moses to Terror Group: Pharoah Via NY Transfer News * All the News That Doesn't Fit source - Ridiculopathy.com - May 7, 2002 http://www.ridiculopathy.com/news_detail.php?id=563 PHARAOH SAYS PAPYRUS LINKS MOSES TO TERROR GROUP AKHETATEN, EGYPT--The conflict between the Hebrews and Egyptians has existed for so long that many have given up hope of seeing a resolution in their lifetime. In the past few months Egypt has seen a dramatic rise in the intensity of the conflict. Today Pharaoh provided the Mesopotamian Council with documents he says clearly link the Hebraic leader with the recent terrorist attacks against Egyptian population centers. The incidents started as simple political demonstrations. Turning the Nile red, while frightening at first, looked more like a party trick than a political statement against the enslavement of the Hebrew people. The following infestations of frogs, lice, and flies indicated a sense of humor behind the attacks- that is, until the frogs died and made a horrific mess. Soon after, the attacks became more serious. Within a few weeks, this shadowy group had destroyed thousands of head of Egyptian livestock and introduced a boil-inducing bio-contagion. Clearly, the acts of this radical Hebraic group were becoming harder and harder to defend. The Hebrews see the events as legitimate political acts and refer to them as "plagues" while Egyptians can see only the destruction they cause. To them, they are terrorism, plain and simple. For some time, international pressure has come down squarely on the side of the Hebrews. However, as the violence in the region escalates, the moral high ground has eroded considerably. Until recently, former Egyptian hot-shot Moses could stay clear of the events, claiming that they occurred through the auspices of a higher power. Sources inside the palace say that no one yet knows who this mysterious group is or how they pull of their terrifying "plagues," but law enforcement officials have vowed to bring the culprits to justice very soon. Pressed for the name of this "higher power," Moses refused saying that it would be blasphemous to say it out loud. Asked to write it down on some papyrus, Moses again said 'no.' When cajoled to play charades for the name of his secret god, Moses rebuffed them. On the 24-hour news channels, pundits continue to debate the issue of a Hebraic homeland: Dathan: There is no excuse for destroying crops and threatening the lives of the first-borns. No amount of oppression can make up for that. Sethi:True. I won't contest that point. But you have to admit that slavery and oppression can only lead to this kind of thing. The Mesopotamian community will not stand for it. Dathan: Regardless of their political goals, these acts constitute terrorism and cannot be tolerated. The Egyptians are merely defending themselves. Sethi :It's not as though the Egyptians and Hebrews are on a level playing field here. This whole thing could end today if Pharaoh would sit down at the negotiating table. Dathan: Correct me if I'm mistaken, but 'Let my people go' followed by a storm of wheat-eating insects is not what I would call a rational settlement offer. The conflict has caused a great deal of consternation for the country as a whole. With talk of rebellion coming from the slave population, confidence in the Egyptian economy is on the verge of collapse. Even worse, work on Pharaoh's pyramid has all but ceased. With surpluses waning and coffers emptying, Pharaoh has appealed to neighboring Babylon for assistance. Babylon is currently embroiled in its own campaign against rebel groups inside its borders and may be amenable to a partnership to benefit its own war on terrorism.--Frank © 2002 ridiculopathy.com Similarities with the material presented here and actual news is purely accidental.
