Activists will address the contemporary challenges facing solidarity efforts and movements and discuss appropriate strategies and tactics. We will include a special focus on political imprisonment in the U.S., with a spotlight on the case of white anti-imperialist Richard Williams, the longest-held political prisoner kept in isolation following the events of September 11th. His attorney, Lynne Stewart, long-term lawyer for radical and unpopular clients, and recently arrested by Attorney General John Ashcroft for her advocacy of Sheik Rahman, will speak about Williams, as well as the current state of repression.
