The Departments of Art and Theater, the Labor Art & Mural Project and CCSU4Peace present: PUBLIC ART as POLITICAL EXPRESSION: The rights and responsibilities of artists in times of political upheaval Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT A public debate, slide show, gallery tour and theatrical performance to promote understanding and encourage discussion of events after 9/11 and the current unrest in the Middle East. This program is in response to criticism directed at murals created by CCSU art students regarding these events.
