El Partido Comunista del Perú en defensa de los sagrados intereses de nuestro pueblo inició en mayo de 1980 nuestra heroica lucha armada. Este trascendental acto revolucionario con acciones guerrilleras: de propaganda y agitación, movilizaciones, cosechas e invasiones, sabotaje, asalto y enfrentamiento, principalmente en el campo, abrió las puertas de la rebelión armada, del alzamiento de las masas del campesinado pobre en especial, de la conquista del poder para el proletariado y las masas populares a través de una prolongada Guerra Popular del campo a la ciudad, único y real camino de nuestra liberación.En más de un año de combate y victorias cuyos hitos son Chuschi (Ayacucho), San Martín de Porres (Lima), Airabamba, Aisarca, Luricocha y otros que resaltan entre más de dos mil acciones armadas que han remecido todos los rincones de nuestra geografía atizadas por la encendida combatividad de nuestro indoblegable pueblo. Hoy, en su inevitable desarrollo, nuestra lucha comienza una nueva y gran ola que golpea más profundamente al caduco sistema reaccionario imperante que por turno transitorio encabeza el demagogo Belaúnde y su pandilla de traficantes, saqueadores, hambreadores y vendepatrias.
Los recientes y contundentes golpes dados en Quinua, la embajada de USA y su residencia, la Southern, el local central de Acción Popular y otros son parte de una serie de acciones armadas contra el imperialismo yanqui, el principal explotador extranjero de nuestro pueblo y al servil gobierno belaundista y su represión galopante y falsa democracia.
Pero, pretendiendo ocultar con un dedo, para capear la crisis política que le hemos generado unidos a las heroicas luchas de nuestro pueblo, y en defensa de su amo imperialista (que hoy envía como nuevo "embajador" a un sanguinario "especialista" de guerra antisubversiva), y con la negra colaboración de los oprtunistas electoreros, concentrados en "El Diario" (TNF: 1981), el reaccionario y corrupto Gobierno de Belaunde ha montado la burda y senil patraña de que "serían narcotraficantes" los autores de tales acciones, a la vez que difunde falaces y ridículos desmentidos. Así pretende encubrir la gran realidad: los fracasos que cosecha en su plan represivo y el pujante desarrollo de la lucha armada.
Obreros, campesinos, mujeres, jóvenes, masas de nuestra patria. Una nueva verdad se abre ante nosotros: ¡la revolución armada está en marcha! Saludemos el futuro golpeando más y más contundentemente al poder reaccionario con las armas en la mano y el corazón bullendo de esperanza que se concreta en las inagotables llamas de nuestra guerra popular.

LONG LIVE THE ARMED STRUGGLE OF OUR PEOPLE! The Communist Party of Perú (PCP), defending the sacred interests of our people, initiated our armed struggle in May 1980. This transcendental revolutionary act with unstoppable guerrilla activity: propaganda and agitation, mobilizations, mainly in the countryside, opens the doors to armed rebellion, to the uprising of peasant masses, mainly poor, to the conquest of Power for the proletariat and the popular masses through a protracted People's War from the countryside to the city. This is the only and real road to our liberation! .
DOWN WITH THE REACTIONARY HOAX! In more than one year of combats and victories, with milestones such as Chuschi (Ayacucho), San Martín de Porres (Lima), Airabamba, Aisarca, Luricocha, and other outstanding actions within the more than 2,000 armed actions, which fueled by the indomitable combativity of our people, shook all the corners of our geography. Today, in its inevitable development, our struggle is beginning a new and great revolutionary wave that hit harder the prevailing obsolete reactionary system that by temporary assignment is headed by the demagogue Belaunde and his gang of traffickers, sackers, hunger bearers and country sellers.
The recent and stunning hits in Quinua (Ayacucho), the U.S. Embassy and residence, the Southern Mining Corporation (an ASARCO branch in Perú), the headquarters of Acción Popular (the Party of Belaunde) and others, is part of a concerted set of armed actions aimed against Yankee imperialism, the main foreign exploiter of our people, and the servile Belaunde government and its rampant repression and bogus democracy.
However, Belaunde raises a finger trying to cover himself from the penetrating sunlight. Thus, to weather the political crisis caused by us and the heroic struggle of our people, and in defense of his imperialist master -who now sends a blood soaked specialist in antisubversive warfare as its new "ambassador," and with the nefarious collaboration of electioneering opportunists, grouped around "El Diario," [TNF: 1981]the reactionary and corrupt Belaunde government has staged a crude and senile hoax that those carrying out those actions "must be drug traffickers." But, after the hoax fails, it spreads out fallacious and ridiculous disclaimers about having anything to do with those rumors. By doing that they attempt to cover up one sticking reality: the failures of their repressive plans and the vibrant development of the armed struggle.
Workers, peasants, women, youth, and masses of our country: A new reality opens up before us: the ongoing march of the armed revolution! Let us greet the future by hitting the reactionary order harder and harder with weapons in our hands and our hearts thundering with the joy of a hope now being fulfilled by the unextinguisible flames of the People's War.
