REVISIONISTS AND SENDEROLOGISTS FACE BITTER TRUTH ON INTERNET Whenever the revolutionary struggles of the proletariat and oppressed masses advance and imperialists suffer defeats, the revisionists (agents of reaction in the ranks of the proletariat and revolutionary organizations) rush to save their imperialist masters. But it is all in vain, because the international proletariat, led by the COMMUNIST PARTY OF PERU (PCP) and the PEOPLES WAR, conduct powerful Maoist countercampaigns, and crush all the sinister slanders and deceptions fabricated by the imperialists, mercenary revisionists, and senderologists.
Olaechea Cahuas: "The Greatest Marxist Since Sliced Bread" The international proletariat, in class alliance with all the oppressed and progressives worldwide, achieves new victories in heroic struggles against the international "united front" of imperialists and revisionists. This occurs mainly as part of the international support for the People's War in Peru, and it develops in various forms, including ideological struggle on the INTERNET. Let's look at some details.
The opportunist Adolfo Olaechea Cahuas, operates from London; he promotes himself as being "the greatest Marxist thinker since sliced bread", and fingers innocent people to Fujimori's secret police (SIN) and FBI. Another, the "loony journalist" K.K. "Campbell" (alias Ken Howard or Zodiac) ,operates from an INTERNET "Arts Weekly" in Toronto, Canada, a magazine not unlike New York's Penny Saver "Village Voice". K.K. employs this fake name ("Campbell") to track, investigate, interrogate and harass political activists in their homes via telephone and e-mail. This "Campbell" person coordinates his investigations and interrogations with the collaboration of the "Gorbachev" in USA: One is "Godena", a member of the revisionist Communist Party USA (CPUSA), admirer of Glasnost and Perestroika, operating from Rhode Island. The other is a filthy snitch who uses the moniker of "James Miles" or "Detcom" and operates from Detroit. These mercenaries and opportunist double-dealers collect information, track down names and addresses, and send in undercover snitchers and "journalists" to harass people who exercise their right to free speech in support of the democratic revolution led by the Communist Party Peru (PCP) through People's War.
Olaechea and partners claim to be "Marxists and progressive" but it is all a cover to carry out their sinister manipulations. They can never win the ideological struggle, and consequently they resort to slanders, lies, and personal attacks. Most recently they have been joined by the newspaperman "LAB" in Belgium, who claims that his private property, his publication "El Diario Internacional" (EDI), represents the prestige of the PCP and the revolution in Peru! (see EDI n 35, August 1996 distributed through INTERNET). This "prestige" stuff is ridiculous, because Mr. LAB is not even a member of the PCP.
In recent months, Olaechea Cahuas and LAB have been using the counterintelligence operative "MIM" to falsely accuse supporters of the People's War, the MPP, and its publication THE NEW FLAG, as "police agents", "perfect impostors", "sons of CoRIM", "Yankee secret weapons", "CIA", etc. (see EDI n. 35). Their slanders have no limits, and in practice they serve the interests of imperialism, principally Yankee imperialism. Calling communists "police spies" is an old trick. Let's see some examples: Before the Bolchevique revolution, wasn't Lenin accused of being a "German agent" by the old revisionists?; and just after the launching of the People's War, wasn't the PCP accuse of being a "CIA plot" by the pro-Moscow revisionists"? The revisionists inside the Australian Communist Party during the great world polemic (1962-1963) called good people (the Red faction) spies and agents and thus destroyed completely the Party. History proved that those revisionists (now defunct) were the real agents and spies of the ruling class. Today, their scurrilous tactic against the MPP is Yankee counterintelligence. It is the same smelly wine in a different bottle!
The working class and the masses of people must be aware that the principal contradiction in the world today is between the working classes of oppressed nations, led by the international proletariat, against the imperialist powers and superpowers led by the international financial oligarchy, these are the exploiters who dream of prolonging their unjust, criminal and genocidal system of imperialist exploitation. What exists is freedom for imperialists to spread their sinister deceptions and lies, to impose exploitation on the working masses throughout the world.
The peoples of Asia, Africa and Latin America have the right to live in peace but they are condemned to injustice, to die in hunger, drowned in growing misery or plunged into profound ignorance and drug addiction imposed by drug dealing imperialists operating from Wall Street, the Pentagon, Downing Street, the Kremlin, and other luxurious hiding holes.
In Peru, the principal world contradiction is intensifying as the old landlord-capitalist State, dominated by Yankee imperialism and; defended by Fujimori's puppet regime, is crumbling. Confronting this is the powerful People's War led by the COMMUNIST PARTY OF PERU (PCP), constructing the People's New Power and New State, and preparing the strategic counteroffensive for the inevitable Conquest of Power nationwide. In this sharp struggle revisionists, in particular Yankee revisionists, take part as faithful mercenaries of imperialist low intensity warfare, which recently achieved a new great failure with the scam of "peace accord" for Fujimori.
In a vain attempt to prevent the masses from participating in the revolutionary struggle and support for the People's War (proletarian internationalism), out jumped revisionists advertising the "peace accord" hoax of imperialism. The executive Committee of the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement (CoRIM), under the control of Robert Avakian, chairman of the revisionist Revolutionary Communist Party USA (RCP-USA), procrastinated for almost two years in order to suppress news from Peru, structure its Right Opportunist Line and portray the "peace accord" as "emerging from Party ranks". In this way, Avakian's gang collaborates with imperialist low intensity warfare (with more calls for imperialist "peace", disguising revisionist agents as "historic Party members", etc.) Promoting their line of "two-line struggle on peace talks in the Party's ranks to the end", and "defence of OUR red flag" flying somewhere in Avakian's head. History has shown that mediocre figureheads can become champions of the line of treason and capitulation at the service of imperialism.
Next in line are the "experts" of psychological operations in low intensity warfare, the "senderologists". They are reactionary "brains" financed by the Pentagon, the "Ford Foundation", and "Soros", who operate through nongovernment Operations (NGOs), and have fabricated their own self-serving and self-deceiving fantasy of "Sendero Luminoso" (shining path), which they themselves over the years have repeatedly "defeated" in Fujimori's newspapers. Senderologists are agents of imperialism, and some even pose as "Marxists", "leftists" and "doctors of anthropology and sociology".
For instance, the anti-communist and fundamentalist Carlos Ivan Degregori, an evangelist of death, portrays himself as "anthropologist". Under this cover, he goes for tourist visits to the Andes. On his return, he always babbles on and on about "peasants and peasants". Degregori cannot distinguish the most obvious reality; for him, everyone in the Andes is "a peasant" (campesino); there are no social classes, no rich landlords nor poor peasants; everyone is simply "a campesino despising Sendero". This "anthropologist" rejects the very basic thing anthropologists are supposed to do: field observations. He only recycles old unreliable data and rigged interviews from "other sources," and generally quoting other senderologists (e.g., the police sociologist Raul Gonzalez, Carlos Tapia, Orrin Starn, Gorriti, etc.)
For Degregori the only "campesinos" who must rule the countryside are the rich landlords and drug barons in Peru's Andes and Amazon region, and he always portrays the military's paramilitary (rondas, mesnadas, serenazgos and black heads or yana humas) as "civil defense patrols." He claims the leaders of the paramilitary death squads composed of landlords, rich peasants, drug barons and hired mercenaries "have defeated Sendero in the struggle for peace", in reality he is talking about the "peace" for drug traffickers, peace of cemeteries, corruption and exploitation. It is a known fact that peasant rondas are formed, trained and led by Fujimori's armed forces to protect the big landlords' properties and the corrupted drug trade, but Degregori makes reference to his "long Messianic experience in anthropological fundamentalism" to cover up the role of Fujimori's armed forces and to rationalize his labeling of big landlords and drug barons as "peasants". He screams, "Sendero kills peasants!" It is no surprise at all that Degregori has no credibility even in reactionary and academic circles in the USA. This is their bitter truth: Degregori and his senderologist colleagues have created their own shining pathology of self-deception and failure.
Senderologists (the drooling Raul Gonzales, the hasidic Orrin Starn, the "persecuted" Gustavo Gorriti, the paralegal rat Robin Kirk, the "James Bond" Simon Strong, the "campesina" Jean Isbell, etc.) all quote one another, because they are vicious and lazy quotation mongers. They fear carrying out scientific research, precisely because they know their distorted views do not conform to reality. Senderologists live submerged in their own self-deceiving and self-serving utopias, in which they are "hired academics" who announce the "defeat" of the PCP and the People's War a thousand times, and consequently, according to them, the PCP and the People's War also have "resurrected" a thousand times. All absurd lies attempting to spread confusion, but nevertheless failing.
In practice, senderologists are zealot supporters and academics of Yankee imperialism; they are tools of Fujimori's cholera, tuberculosis, murder, hooded judges, misery, hunger and genocide against the proletariat and working classes in Peru.
In addition to the above, imperialists and their agents always manipulate deceitful information in their press, produce films upholding pro-imperialist ideology, falsify "old" documents, and finance "public relations" for capitalist propaganda, all aiming to create the futile illusion of the "crimes" of Communism. They flood the world with the vilest anti-communist propaganda and trot out counterfeit "professors" in an attempt to "prove" their lies.
Every advance in the socialist USSR until Stalin, and in China during Mao, is portrayed as "a crime". The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, the highest summit of proletarian revolutionary struggle in human history, is portrayed as "a crime". The struggle of the glorious Soviet people who, led by the proletariat, defeated the bloody Czar and the Fascist Nazi butchers, is also "a crime" for the imperialists. All the great deeds of the working class throughout the world are treated with scorn by the imperialist and their lackeys.
No matter what the imperialists preach, the masses make history, and the revolutionary forces are surging ahead. We have entered the STRATEGIC OFFENSIVE OF THE WORLD PROLETARIAN REVOLUTION, with the COMMUNIST PARTY OF PERU (PCP) leading the PEOPLE'S WAR, as the vanguard.
When the Nazis were at the gates of Stalingrad, Stalin and the heroic multinational proletariat of the USSR did not ponder any "peace accords". They chased the fascists back to Berlin without mercy. It was not the winter that defeated the Nazis, it was the superior socialist system and the heroic Soviet people who achieved victory.
Imperialists, revisionists and their mercenary agents are paper tigers. The scientific achievements of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung, and Chairman Gonzalo, guide and inspire the proletariat's struggle towards new victories against imperialism and its sinister agents. The international proletariat must strive to further apply its invincible weapon of victory: MARXISM-LENINISM-MAOISM, GONZALO THOUGHT.
