"Opportunism only thinks about what it sees in its immediate surroundings, in the midst of stingy philistinism and 'reformist' stagnation, to know only the municipalities! Opportunism had lost the habit of even thinking about the proletarian revolution."
The Peru People's Movement in Switzerland salutes the MPP-USA for the struggle it carries forward against opportunism of many stripes, a struggle which we adhere to, full of historical optimism.
The pernicious work of the petty-bourgeois journalist Luis Arce Borja and the self-worshipping Adolfo Olaechea, who seek to divide the International Communist Movement by calling for an opportunist World Mobilization Commission demonstrates their clear liquidationist and opportunist position. Proof of this are the numerous examples in the text published by the MPP-USA.
The case of the MPP-Malmo is an obvious example, despite its manifest conciliation with Co-RIM. As the Central Committe of the Communist Party of Peru (PCP) indicated in the June 1994 document Instructions:
"Problems linked to the struggle... distinguish between:
a) divergences among the left and
b) problems of a structured right opportunist line or (of lines) that lead to this."
In reference to the Maoist party Rossoperaio we can clearly see that the act of differing with the line of LAB (El Diario), which is not an organ of the PCP, can lead to being denounced, the same with the threat made to the comrades of the MPP-USA. These delinquent acts are against Maoism and must be unmasked.
We wish to cite the concrete case of the CCC [Fighting Communist Cells, an armed group--Editor] in Belgium who are advancing in their understanding of Maoism and deserve our attention. Nevertheless, LAB has an ally in the Belgian Party of Labor, whose position in an article of 1989 salutes the repression of the students in Tienanmen by Teng's gang. We enclose these articles, along with some extracts of the magazine Solidaire published by the PTB in Nov. 1992, which reflect the same position.
Definitively the objective is to impede the advance of the understanding of Maoism, impede the advance of potential communist parties, divide the International Communist Movement, undermine the work of the generated organisms of the PCP abroad (MPP) and ally with revisionist groups and elements in Europe and the USA, along with convergence with the capitulators.
LAB and AO, Anti-Party Elements
We can clearly see the opportunist positions of the journalist Luis Arce Borja and of Adolfo Olaechea, which manifest themselves in different ways but have the same objective: to fool and demoralize the support movement for the People's War in Peru.
On the one hand Co-RIM (principally the careerist Avakian) upholds that the counter-revolutionary hoaxthe product of the government of the genocidal Fujimori dictatorship, the SIN, the CIA and Yankee imperialism, with the participation of a sinister group in the prisons who raised a revisionist and capitulationist right opportunist line (ROL).
On the other hand LAB and AO indicate that the counter-revolutionary hoax is a 100% police product, and at no time do they unmask the participation in the hoax of a sinister group in prison who raise the ROL. This position hides their alliance with the capitulator Esparza and the old MPP in France, their ex-associates.
As was clearly indicated by the CC of the PCP in Instructions: "Building the Conquest of Power demands sweeping away the revisionist and capitulationist Right Opportunist Line and purging the Party."
