The life of our comrade Michel was dedicated to revolution, upholding, defending and applying Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, must be an example for all of us. He was an example of tireless work, serving the interest of the international proletariat and the world revolution, and an example of discipline and responsibility, wholeheartedly serving the people, ferociously struggling against imperialism, reaction and revisionism.
When we met him, the MPP in Switzerland was taking its first steps, and he, with great enthusiasm, joined the comrades in popularizing the People's War in Peru, and Maoism as the third, and superior stage of Marxism. Thus, he opened a new stage in his life as a Communist, always serving the international proletariat and world revolution. His participation was decisive in smashing the counterrevolutionary "peace accord" scam of Fujimori's genocidal regime. Comrade Michel also joined the fight against the black clique in Basilea which defended Fujimori's scam, and consequently this clique was wiped out. Then regardless of his precarious health, and together with the comrades of the MPP, he led the struggle against opportunism as expressed by LAB and his EDI, as well against the opportunism of the Yankee revisionist Avakian, the black head manipulating CoRIM. This struggle continues to develop, and exemplifies the tireless communist and internationalism spirit of our comrade Michel, who applied what Lenin taught us:
"The world revolution can triumph if the proletariat in the capitalist countries supports the people's liberating struggles in the colonies and semi-colonies; and if the proletariat in the colonies and semi-colonies supports the liberating struggle of the proletariat in the capitalist countries."
Today we want to express our most profound sorrow for the death of our comrade Alfred Michel. We pay this homage to show that his spirit inspires all of us and shall continue inspiring us in carrying on our tasks. Let us learn from his example to continue the struggle for the cause of Communism, a society without oppressors nor oppressed.
Finally, we want to uphold his call, a call we must firmly apply with the most powerful weapon of today's world, Marxism-Leninism-Maoism:
"A century of colossal tasks lies ahead at the planetary scale. Destroy to the root the barbarity that agonizing capitalism actually imposes on us. Construct socialism and our grandchildren and great grandchildren, through the multitude of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, shall establish the Communist society."

We have suffered the loss of two international supporters of the People's War in Peru. In the name of the oppressed people of our country to which we faithfully serve, we would like to express our sympathy and condolences to their families and friends, and our deepest gratitude to these Comrades. Upholding the principle of proletarian internationalism, they have worked tirelessly and unconditionally to build the international support for the People's War. Sleep well, beloved comrades. The fight will go on, until we win.
